1. The Owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date your pet is checked in to Bayshore Grooming and Pet Resort (BGPR).
2. The Owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested and all veterinary costs for your pet during the time the pet is in the care of BGPR.
3. The Owner agrees that the pet shall not leave the resort until all charges are paid to BGPR by the Owner.
4. By signing this Agreement and leaving your pet at BGPR, the Owner certifies the accuracy of all information provided.
5. BGPR shall exercise reasonable care for your pet for the duration of the stay. It is expressly agreed that BGPR’s liability shall in no event exceed the lesser of the current value of the pet of the same species or the sum of $100.00 per animal boarded. The Owner further agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of the pet while it is in the care of BGPR.
6. The Owner shall be responsible for the replacement cost of damage done by pet. BGPR agrees to provide a receipt for proof of repair or replacement costs.
7. BGPR reserves the right to separate pets that are boarding in the same kennel should they pose a threat to each other. Owner agrees to pay additional boarding charges incurred for this purpose.
8. The Owner specifically represents to BGPR that the pet has not been exposed to rabies, distemper or been ill within a thirty-day period prior to boarding.
9. All charges incurred by Owner shall be payable upon pick-up of the pet, or when billed by BGPR at address listed on Agreement.
10. If the pet becomes ill or if the animal's health otherwise requires medical attention, BGPR, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian and the expenses thereof shall be paid by the Owner. Maximum authorized medical charges in case of emergency: _________________.

11. Nightly boarding charges begin the first night pet(s) boards. Customer is to inform our staff of any change in pick-up date. No animal will be released until all boarding charges are paid in full. Any pet(s) left for more than 7 days after the scheduled pick-up date will be placed in the care of Animal Services. Owner shall remain liable for complete boarding bill as well as other charges incurred in the care, maintenance and relocation of pet(s).
12. This Agreement is all inclusive, and all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall be binding between the Owner and BGPR. This Agreement will remain in effect until one of the parties terminates the business relationship.
13. Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relating to this contract, or the breach thereof, or as the result of any claim or controversy involving the alleged negligence by any party to this contract or the breach thereof, or as the result of any claim or controversy involving the alleged negligence by any party to this contract, shall be settled in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association and judgment upon the award rendered by an arbitrator may be entered in any Court having jurisdiction thereof. The arbitrator shall, as part of his award, determine an award to the prevailing party of the cost of such arbitration and reasonable attorney’s fees of the prevailing party.
